Dozens Taken To The Hospital Following Kenny Chesney Concert

PITTSBURGH (CelebrityAccess) — Dozens of people were taken to hospitals and several people were arrested at a Kenny Chesney concert at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

According to CBS News, Public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said 57 emergency medical transports were requested and 25 people were taken to local hospitals, primarily for intoxication, or injuries related to intoxication.

Police also arrested several people on charges ranging from trespassing and public intoxication to ticket robbery and assault. As well, one police officer was slightly injured while breaking up a fight.

CBS Pittsburgh also reported that police issued 36 citations for underage drinking in the venue parking lot.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Chesney's fans also left a significant amount of garbage in the stadium's parking lot after the show.
