How to Get Necrochasm in Destiny 2 | Bottomless Pit Quest
To obtain Necrochasm in Destiny 2, Guardians need to pick up the Bottomless Pit quest. However, this isn’t as simple as picking it up from a vendor, far from it.
Bottomless Pit is available by beating Crota’s End during its 48-hour Contest Mode period. As a reward for completing such a demanding challenge, players will receive a fully Masterworked Necrochasm without having to meet any of the quest’s objectives.
Once Contest Mode ends, Bottomless Pit will be available to start for us regular shmucks. Unfortunately for us, we’ll have to complete the entire quest to get our hands on Necrochasm. We’ll update this article on September 3 with more information when it’s available.

From what we know so far, Necrochasm is looking far better than its Destiny 1 counterpart. Desperation and Cursebringer have the potential to synergize incredibly well together, which could result in a powerful add-clearing weapon to rival Quicksilver Storm.
As long as it’s remotely usable, I won’t complain. As stunning as Necrochasm looked and sounded, it never saw much use in Destiny 1.
How to Get Necrochasm’s Catalyst
At the time of writing, the only way to receive Necrochasm’s Catalyst is by beating Crota’s End during Contest Mode. Bungie hasn’t announced how players can earn a Masterworked Necrochasm once Contest Mode has concluded, though it will likely be tired to multiple raid completions.
