Hollidaysburg Borough, Hollidaysburg Area Arts Council, Hollidaysburg Community Band, and Altoona Symphony Orchestra have announced in a press release free live music summer concerts in Hollidaysburg for the 2023 season.
The concert schedule for the summer is as follows:
- Sunday, June 25 at 7pm, Hollidaysburg Community Band at Canal Basin Park.
- Canal Basin Park concert Sunday July 16 at 6pm by Stephanie and the Wild Hearts, sponsored by Hollidaysburg Area Arts Council. Rain location: Hollidaysburg Area High School.
- July’s concert on the Diamond in Hollidaysburg will be Hot Wax Thursday July 20 at 6pm.
- Hollidaysburg Community Band performs at Canal Basin Park Sunday July 30th at 7pm.
- Downtown Live concert on the Diamond will be held Thursday August 17 at 6pm featuring the winner of the Altoona Mirror’s 2023 Hometown Favorites: The Pines.
- Enjoy the full Altoona Symphony Orchestra at Canal Basin Park on Saturday August 19 at 6pm (rain location: Hollidaysburg Senior High), followed by the Altoona Youth Orchestra Sunday August 20 at 2pm.
- Hollidaysburg Community Band will perform at Canal Basin Park August 27 at 6pm, and the last Downtown Live concert on the Diamond in Hollidaysburg will be held Thursday September 21 at 6pm with Felix and the Hurricanes.
