Luis García Postigo is a retired soccer player, producer and Mexican soccer commentator, born on June 1, 1969, in Naucalpan de Juárez, Mexico. He began his professional career for Club Universidad Nacional in 1986. After being champion 1990-91, he was transferred to Atlético de Madrid. In his first campaign he scored 17 goals in 29 games played, being up to that point
the best debut of a Mexican soccer player in the Spanish league. For the 1994-1995 tournament he returned to Mexico and joined Club América until the 1997 tournament. That same year he transferred to Atlante, where he stayed for another year. Later he was signed for the Guadalajara club. He retired from sports in 2000 to work as a sports commentator. He currently works for TV Azteca and Carlos Loret de Mola’s digital platform “LatinUS”. In 2022, he provides his voice for the character ‘SVenganza’ in ‘Minions: A Villain Born’.QUICK FACTS
