Storm Nagle retired Friday from Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center after 40 years at the hospital.

Nagle, a Belmont native, was surprised by family and EMS members from multiple counties in our area with an EMS parade.

Nagle spent the last 25 years as the Pre-Hospital Operations Manager and was in charge of the hospital's helicopter program.

Nagle responded to historic incidents like Flight 93 and the Quecreek Mine Rescue.

Nagle said, "It takes an entire team to make EMS in this area work and as you can see it today, it's just not me, it's every one of those ambulance services; it's every one of the people here. They're the best and EMS is the best. This has been a job that I couldn't have asked for. I would do it again in a heartbeat."

Nagle even got to go on one last helicopter ride as she went back to her first scene call, which was a farming accident.
