A&E Network’s 60 Days In is back for another season with seven brave participants who will be entering jail undercover to investigate the daily proceedings as part of a mission to evoke change. These good samaritans including Sarah are ready to endanger their lives even if it means saving at least one soul in the prison.
Sarah said, “You will grieve your addiction and the chaos! Don’t let the grief make you back. There are so many beautiful things coming to you in your recovery!”
As a former drug addict of over a decade, Sarah understands the suffering that comes with addiction. Thus, she’s making a gamble to enter the prison undercover with just empathy as her weapon.
Also, now that she’s been sober for over a decade, Sarah wishes to share her recovery journey with the world. “This fight was extremely difficult but worth EVERYTHING. If you’re battling an addiction or having to watch someone go through it, know you’re not alone,” she said. “There are resources out there to help you. Besides this, Sarah worked as an Executive Director at Bellame in 2023. Also, she had been the executive director of Modere for a little over a year then.

Is Sarah Anselment Married?
Despite being engaged to her fiance Anthony Magnuson back on July 3, 2016, Sarah Anselment isn’t married (as of 2023).
Her 8-year-older fiance, Anthony is a Mn Adult & Teen Challenge Brainerd graduate who has worked for Morcon Construction, Frattalone Companies Inc, and Lyft. The last we checked he has a part of Union Laborer at Laborers Union Hall Local 563.
According to the 60 Days In star, Anthony is “the whole package.” No wonder, she said that each passing year only “gets better and our love and chemistry grow more and more.”
Back on their 5th anniversary, Sarah took to her FB to write, “God really knew what he was doing putting you in my path. All of my better days are spent with you ❤ After 5 years you still look at me the way you did when we first fell in love. And our love continues to grow and get stronger as the days go on.”

After Sarah started smoking marijuana at 14, her mother kicked her out of the house, and she went on to live with her dad who was a Meth dealer and a “hardcore Meth user.” Seeing him dealing and using Meth, the 60 Days In star was always intrigued by the drug. So, one day, a younger friend of her dad (whom Sarah found “very attractive”) offered her Meth, and she tried it! The rest is history.
Also, none of the other family members cared for her then. Even after she was sober, and trying her best to start a new life, her family and friends abandoned her. But Sarah never gave up.
“You ask me HOW… it’s that I don’t give up. Even when people I thought were my friends blocked me, certain family members didn’t support me, no live watchers, no likes, no comments, and when I thought I wasn’t going to make it,” she explained
However, among them, her baby sister was an exception. “My baby sister always had my back through it all,” she said.
