A tribute called America’s 9/11 Ride was designed to remember the survivors and victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The motorcycle ride commemorates the passengers and crew members from the United 93 flight for their acts of courage and first responders who were killed.

Over of the course of two days, riders traveled across six states.

The ride started in Shanksville, went past the Flight 93 memorial to the Pentagon in Virginia and finished at the Freedom Tower in New York.

Nearly 1,800 bikers from across the country participated.

"It’s truly humbling when we go through the small towns, and you see all the people with the flags and they cheer. It just sends chills through your body,” said Bill Thomas of Clearfield County.

More than 160 police officers escorted the bikers as they made their way to their final destination.

This year's 9/11 ride is the last one.

"It’s just important for everyone to remember, and it doesn’t matter traveling 1,000 miles. It's nothing compared to what they went through,” said James Jones, who traveled from Florida to take part in the ride.
